MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!!
My paperwork for a visa to India has been accepted and in just six weeks I'm off.
I usually have such bad luck at embassies...but this was a golden experience.
Maybe it was because we're American...
Maybe it's because we smiled a lot...
Or maybe it's because I kept gawking over the girl at the front desks' hot new boots.
Who knows?
But I've got the golden ticket...

The guys at the Indian Embassy LOVE Peace Corps Volunteers. I think they appreciate our knowledge of the visa application process, and our ability to speak English. One guy told me, "we give PCVs their visas the same day because we also try to spread the peace." Excellent.
